IU Health Virtual Visits

Anyone in Indiana can now see a highly skilled Indiana University (IU) Health physician, or associated physician, on their smartphone with the IU Health Video Visits app. It’s a helpful alternative that works with your busy schedule to provide you and your family with convenient access to doctors during the day, evening or weekend, without having to go to a doctor’s office. See a doctor via a live video visit on your tablet, smartphone or computer from 8am to 8pm seven days a week (holiday hours may vary).



After you have enrolled and registered with one of our agents, they will connect you with one of our highly skilled IU Health physicians or associated physicians, via live, high quality video. Typically visits will last about ten minutes, but of course you can add more time if needed. Doctors will review your history and answer questions. A few minutes later you’ll have a diagnosis and instructions for treatment.

If you use Apple Health, you can choose to share your health information with the provider during your virtual video visit, such as heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, blood glucose level, weight, nutritional information, and respiratory rate.
